GOSSEN METRAWATT - Meters are calibrated by the state-approved testing laboratory of GMC-I Messtechnik.
The Bavarian State Office for Measurement and Weight recognizes our testing laboratory in accordance with the provisions of the Measurement and Calibration Act (MessEG).
The European Measuring Instruments Directive (MID), which has been in force since 2004 (revised version 2014), allows the placing on the market through conformity assessment (module B + D for GMC-I Messtechnik).
At the end of the calibration period, a national calibration, e.g. required by our testing laboratory. The legal sign for the performed calibration is the so-called main stamp. The mark shown here contains our test mark designation EBY 8 and the year of the calibration (for example, 17 for 2017).
If you want this proven "yellow brand" from the beginning, we are happy to carry out calibrations for new meters. With the associated calibration certificate, you start a complete verification chain with uniform certificates.
To exclude manipulation, the meter is sealed. The calibration period for electronic electricity meters is 8 years. On request, we issue a fee for verification certificates.
Here you will find our state recognition and a calibration certificate.
