EM401: Are the energy meters suitable for operation at 60 Hz frequency?

Subject: U3089, U3589, U368x, U168x, U118x

The energy meters U3089, U3589, U3681, U3687, U3689 and U1681
are suitable for operation at 50Hz and 60Hz frequency.

The bus-capable energy meters for three-phase current measurement can be operated at 60 Hz mains frequency under the following conditions:

• U1187, U1687 - at least 3 phase voltages must be present
• U1189, U1689 - at least 2 phase voltages must be present
• Operation, as required by the EN61036 meter standard, with only one phase voltage in the 4-wire system or two phase voltages in the 3-wire system is not permitted.
